Looks like it’s going to be a winter for snow shoes, unlike last year. Snow, snow, and more snow. After two more storms, we got a good trail going in the back forty. It’s very deep powdery snow, but since the next few days will be below zero, that’ll help firm up the trail. We have other nice trails within just a few miles of home, but having this one right here allows me to get out there for a bit of exercise before work. It’s pretty handy.
Now of course I’m heading to the studio downstairs to be warmed by the wood stove, and to start on another project. I volunteered at the quilt meeting to take a semi-finished project home and finish it up. Last time I did that it took me over a year to bring it back finished. This time I dated it so I’d have it back in less than 6 months. It’s not a 6 month project, but I just hate to work on only one thing. I’ve got to have several fun projects going at once. I just finished 2 cute little craft smocks and also one of my altered art books, so now I can at least begin something new.
